Alan was a partner in Matheson (formerly Matheson Ormsby Prentice), Dublin, for over twenty years, and was the principal of AG Graham & Co Solicitors for a number of years prior to the firm merging into John O’Connor Solicitors LLP.
Alan’s main area of practice is Private Clients and Conveyancing.
He has had considerable involvement in youth work over the years, in the Scout Association of Ireland (as National Secretary), National Youth Council of Ireland (as President) and the Youth Forum of the European Union (as President). He has been on the board of the National Children’s Hospital and the National Gallery of Ireland.
He is currently a Trustee of the Kildare Street and University Club, a member of the Board of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin and the board of the Royal Irish Automobile Club
