Mary Hayes

Mary is one of the leading Family Law experts in the country. She has practiced in the area of Family Law for over 25 years, developing the department in Gore & Grimes Solicitors LLP from inception.

Over the years Family Law has expanded and in particular, during the recession years Mary acquired an extensive knowledge in both banking and bankruptcy law, extending her commercial knowledge in particular with a view to matrimonial cases. She has extensive experience and expertise in the Circuit Court and High Court and has taken some cases through the High Court process and to the Supreme Court, without the assistance of Counsel. She has achieved this expertise with the knowledge that where possible, all matters should be negotiated and agreed, especially where children are involved.

Mary is a trained Mediator. She has lectured, written articles and been a contributor to radio & press on Family Law.
